The Southface Institute needed a three- to five-year strategic plan that would simplify decision-making processes and help them clearly define a vision for a successful future in the midst of internal leadership changes.
Milepost used a depth of strategic planning knowledge to research and develop a strategic plan that aligned best with the Southface vision. We first built a foundation of Southface-specific knowledge through a collaborative process to collect information regarding the organization’s vision and goals. We then used stakeholder input, market research and a series of threat analyses to assess the group’s current and future landscape. Finally, we designed recommended strategies for implementation to achieve their final goals.
We delivered a dynamic, detailed and engaging strategic plan framework that combined the background knowledge we collected with our organizational development skills. Through an iterative, collaborative process, we presented Southface with a three- to five-year plan for moving forward in a way that would help the organization clearly define a vision for forward movement and reach their goals despite unforeseeable changes in the world around them.
