Susan SteffenhagenAICP

Susan joins the Milepost team with a background in city and transportation planning. She is skilled in federal grants management and planning for electric vehicle charging infrastructure, having previously worked at the Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA) and Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT).  

A native Nashvillian, Susan earned her B.S. in Business Administration - Operations and Supply Chain Management from Georgia Tech, and her Master of City and Regional Planning from the University of Memphis.

She currently serves on the Executive Boards of the Nashville Chapter of Young Professionals in Transportation (YPT) and Georgia Tech’s Nashville Alumni Network, is the Tennessee Chapter of the American Planning Association’s Mentor Match Coordinator, a Big Sister for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee, and a member of the Junior League of Nashville. Susan was also YPT International’s 2021 Changemakers in Transportation award recipient.

I took French for all four years of high school and was never fluent!
