Leah’s interest in sustainability comes from a fondness for efficiency and the idea that organizations can operate in ways to simultaneously improve social and environmental impacts while meeting their original mission. She hopes to use her Lean Six Sigma black belt to help Milepost clients grow in this direction. Prior to joining Milepost, Leah served as the Energy Conservation and Sustainability Administrator for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. Past positions include work with the Vera Institute of Justice and Ohio Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council. She has a B.A. in human and organizational development and an M.Ed. in organizational leadership from Vanderbilt University. In her free time, she enjoys hunting for treasures at the Habitat for Humanity Restore and being outside in the southern sun.
