We come to work because we want to make our planet more livable and sustainable, maximizing fun along the way. Folks who know us will tell you we’re an enthusiastic, determined, slightly quirky bunch – but it’s these traits that make us effective. It goes back to our name – our founder, Dr. Dune Ives, spent her formative years traversing the Alaska-Canadian Highway. She turned to the Milepost Guidebook, a guide for finding the most efficient route, the best view, the nearest stop and the most compelling story, for the 1,390 mileposts along the way. We serve that role for our clients, helping them meet their goals in the most efficient, effective and enjoyable way.
"Milepost helps us see things through a different set of lenses and we are better off for their insight. They are thorough about their approach, genuine of their commitment and flexible in their design of solutions." William Watson, National Mango Board
Milepost Consulting annually tracks and offsets its carbon emissions with verified projects that combine carbon abatement with conservation and human development. In 2014, we offset our 97.66 CO2e metric tons of emissions through a contribution to Panama’s 1,100 acre Cocobolo Nature Reserve, managed by the non-profit CREA. CREA protects bio-diverse forest area and provides effective community and youth education programs on rainforest conservation.
